Attorney Grant Killoran Participates in Macalester College Legal Studies Forum

Grant Killoran, a partner in OCHD’s Litigation Practice Group, recently participated as a speaker in the Macalester College “Front Row” lecture series, a two-day event focusing on law and entrepreneurship and business, held in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 25 and 26, 2010.

Attorney Killoran was one of twelve lawyer alumni of Macalester College invited to participate in the event. There, he met with Macalester College administration, faculty, alumni and students to discuss the role of a liberal arts education in the legal training and preparation of lawyers.

Other speakers at the forum included the general counsel of a large multi-national company, a sitting United States District Judge, a sitting United States Attorney and other distinguished corporate and private practice attorneys.


Milwaukee Bar Association Appoints Attorney Grant Killoran to Milwaukee Justice Center Committee

Attorney Grant Killoran of O’Neil Cannon has been chosen by the Milwaukee Bar Association to serve on its newly formed Milwaukee Justice Center Committee. He will serve alongside the current and a former Chief Judge of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, the Clerk of Milwaukee County Circuit Court and Milwaukee Bar Association executives.

The Milwaukee Justice Center opened in October, 2009 and is located in the Milwaukee County Courthouse. The Center uses transformative collaborative partnerships to provide free legal assistance to Milwaukee County’s unrepresented litigants through court-based self help desks and legal resources.

Grant concentrates his practice on complex business and health care disputes and devotes a portion of his practice to arts and entertainment law, with an emphasis on the music and film industries. He has served as one of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Delegates to the American Bar Association’s House Delegates and as Co-Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation Health Law Litigation Committee.

The Milwaukee law firm of O’Neil Cannon recently expanded its litigation practice group to include Grant C. Killoran. Grant, formerly with Michael Best and Friedrich LLP, brings with him significant litigation experience representing clients in Wisconsin and nationwide.

Grant concentrates his practice on complex business and health care disputes and devotes a portion of his practice to arts and entertainment law. He serves as one of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s five Delegates to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates and as Co-Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation Health Law Litigation Committee.
