Emily M. Behn

Emily is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Emily provides guidance on a wide variety of both personal and commercial litigation matters ranging from inheritance and contract disputes to business shareholder disputes, property disputes, and renovation and construction disputes.

As a natural storyteller, Emily always knows the facts, pays attention to the details and most importantly, knows how to communicate complex ideas in a way that makes sense. She leaves no box unchecked when advocating for her clients.

Prior to law school, Emily studied journalism and worked in public relations telling the stories of both public and private sector clients in the health care, food and beverage, agriculture, and gaming industries. She now leverages her communications experience in her legal advocacy.

  • Successfully represented an individual in her claim against an estate for a loan made to the deceased prior to his death
  • Successfully defended the beneficiary of a will against claims of invalidity and tortious interference with expected inheritance
  • Successfully represented small business owner in dispute with general contractor
